Exam pattern
Preliminary Examination (objective)
Reasoning 25 minutes and Quantitative Aptitude 20 minutes. Candidates must qualify in both tests on cut-offs set by IBPS. The Office Assistant (Multipurpose) preliminary paper has the same shape but pairs Reasoning with Numerical Ability.
Main Examination (objective)
Candidates opt for either the English Language test or the Hindi Language test, not both. IBPS reserves the right to modify the structure, including duration.
Interview
Held for Officer Scale I after the Main examination; Office Assistant (Multipurpose) has no interview stage.
