Exam pattern
Tier-I (Computer Based Examination)
Four parts of 25 questions and 50 marks each, with a 15-minute sectional timer per subject (80 minutes, 20 minutes per subject, for candidates eligible for a scribe). Parts II, III and IV may be taken in a regional language chosen in the application form.
Tier-II Session-I
Section-I (Mathematical Abilities 30 + Reasoning and General Intelligence 30 = 60 questions, x3 = 180 marks, 1 hour); Section-II (English Language and Comprehension 40 + General Awareness 20 = 60 questions, x3 = 180 marks, 1 hour); Section-III (Computer Knowledge Test, 15 questions, x3 = 45 marks, 15 minutes).
Tier-II Session-II · Skill Test / Typing Test
Part A skill test for Data Entry Operators in the departments listed at para 8.1 (15 minutes); Part B skill test for other DEO posts (15 minutes); Part C typing test for LDC and JSA (10 minutes).
