Three sections, separately timed. Candidates must qualify in each section separately. Minimum qualifying marks are 16 (SC/ST/PwBD) or 18 (others) for Reasoning and for Quantitative Aptitude, and 9 or 10 for English. The English test is qualifying and its 30 marks are not counted, so the paper carries 100 questions but 70 counted marks. Preliminary marks are NOT added to the final merit list.
