Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) सिलेबस

A three-hour computer based test of 100 marks in English, offered across 30 test papers; a candidate may appear in one or up to two of them. Every paper carries 15 marks of General Aptitude. In most papers the remaining 85 marks include 13 marks of Engineering Mathematics; in AR, CY, DA, EY, GE, GG, MA, PH, ST, XH and XL the subject accounts for the full 85. Questions are worth one or two marks and come in three forms — multiple choice, multiple select and numerical answer. Negative marking applies only to multiple-choice questions.
